Art to Remember – Fall
Work with Art teacher to select Art work to be submitted to Art to Remember. Distribute and collect order forms from parents purchasing their child’s masterpiece made into a keepsake item.

You may not be able to help with something specific, but if a need arises, we can call on you to help out in a pinch!
Dine to Donate – Throughout the school year
Set up events with businesses that donate a portion of the sales PSG.
Family Breakfast Events – Two Fridays in March
Plan and promote our parent breakfasts held in March. Proceeds from the event are used to support a designated charity. Volunteers assist the chair in picking up food and supplies, setting up, serving breakfast, and clean up.
First Week Help – First week of school year
Help our new kindergartner students learn how to handle a lunch trays and go through this lunch line. This can be a bit overwhelming for these students which is why we always have parents there to help out the first week. We also will need help before and after school to make sure students get to where they need to be.
Fun Run – End of August/ Beginning of September - Eagle’s Primary Fundraiser
Students run for 30 minutes getting as many laps as possible. Volunteers assist in finding community sponsors and preparing for the day. On the day of the event they set up, tear down, distribute water and punch lap cards. Volunteers also assist in preparing for the celebration held 2 weeks later to celebrate their fundraising success.
Incentives – Throughout the school year
Organize and communicate the additional fund raising opportunities for Eagle such as Box Tops for Education, Amazon Smile and Kroger’s Community Rewards programs. Visit www.kroger.com/account/enrollCommunityRewardsNow to sign up.
Library/Media Center – one morning or afternoon every week or every other week
Volunteers help with a variety of tasks in the library media center such as checking in books, shelving books, checking out new books to the students, and various other tasks that come up.
Riley Caring and Sharing Week – One Week in February
Students partake in some friendly competition to see who can collect the most money each day, which is then donated to Riley's Hospital for Children. Volunteers assist with counting the money collected each day.
Room Parents – October & February
Responsible for planning and organizing the two class parties held in October and February. Coordinating with parent volunteers to donate supplies and attend the parties to assist with the planned activities.
Santa Shop – December-February
Super shoppers hunt for bargains on quality gift items that students can purchase in December to give to family members for the holiday. The majority of the shopping will be done December-February. Santa Shop will be held Dec 10-13, 2018. Volunteers will be needed to set up, assist students with shopping, check out and wrapping purchases.
Teacher Appreciation Week – First Week of May
A great way to show the staff how much we appreciate them! Assist in planning the teacher appreciation events for the week.

Workroom volunteers will assist teachers in making copies, cutting, laminating and other prep work for their lessons. Your student’s teacher should have their own sign up system available. If you would like to help teachers that have limited volunteer help, this is the position for you! Work room hours will be determined based on volunteer’s availability.
